Stunningly beautiful century old teak wood coffee table featuring our unique minimalist carving. The sides of this ancient teak root are hand carved by our master wood carver. We then applied a wire brush revealing the beautiful rare wood grain. It’s all in the details. Both usable and sculptural.

This one of a kind coffee table was hand made in the spirit of Wabi-Sabi, a Japanese philosophy that beauty can be found in imperfection and impermanence. It is a beauty of things modest and humble. A beauty of things unconventional. It is the opposite of vulgarity. The costs of achieving this kind of minimalism are seemingly inconsistent with its mission of aesthetic humility.
