Antique male statue hand carved from a single wood log from West Borneo. Originally used to protect the home from evil spirits. The wood base was placed into the ground in front of the house as a guardian. We added an 8” x 8” modern metal black base. We only source the best.
This beautiful antique statue was sourced in the spirit of Wabi Sabi, a Japanese philosophy that beauty can be found in imperfection and impermanence. It is a beauty of things modest and humble.
