Century old unique sculptural chair. The back is a single piece of thick ancient teak wood with a beautiful hand carved scroll at the top. We added a butterfly inlaid into the seat across the natural crack whilst respecting the organic character in the wood. Both usable and sculptural. Finished with a light wire brush and bleach revealing the unique wood grain. It’s all in the details. Full dimensions ; 16.5” deep x 10” wide x 16” seat height x floor to top of back rest 36” high.
The St. Barts Collection features an exciting new line of organic white wash, bleached and natural weathered teak furniture. The reclaimed teak is bleached and left to bake in the sun and sea salt air for over a year to achieve this unique finish. Select pieces are infused with a brilliant aqua resin that is cracked to achieve a unique quartz crystal effect. The final result evokes imagery of the white sand beaches and brilliant aqua waters of the famous French Caribbean Island.
